Text-only version.

Just noticed: It's not only Microsoft Excel, even OpenOffice.org does localize keywords. Why? Why?!

So (in my German version) you have to type "HEUTE()" instead of "TODAY()", or "WENN(...)" instead of "IF(...)". I think all German-speaking users of any spreadsheet application know those basic words in the English language. Why localize them? It's just confusing if you are working in a multilingual environment. In any case, they are reserved words anyway, not actual language. Therefore, what's the point?
I think this just complicates things. Any objections?
